SCARED BEYOND DESCRIPTION
I am fully aware of the Upper Cervical Concept of total health care.
“Brain electrical and chemical messages leave the brain by way of the brain stem, go down the spinal cord, out over the nervous system to all parts of the body to control, maintain and monitor all body functions.
When the brain can freely communicate with all parts of the body without interference we can expect good health.
When the brain cannot communicate with some part of the body because of head/neck mis-alignment at the point where the head and neck join we can expect health problems to develop.”
Prior to the past Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays I was aware of my head/neck mis-alignment, because when I stood in front of the mirror I could see that my head was tilted to one side.
Again,
“When the head is shifted off the center of the top of the neck and held in that position by muscles of the neck, it can prevent brain health and healing messages from getting through to the body”
Although for two or three months I could see head tilt in the mirror, there were no unusual physical symptoms, so I kept putting off a visit to an Upper Cervical Doctor.
But all this began to change when I least expected it.
On Monday afternoon January 5, 2004 at about 3 p m, I was sitting at my desk when I began to have pain in my right testicle.
Within the hour the testicle began to swell with toothache like pain shooting up into the right side of my lower abdomen.
By early evening the pain and swelling continued to increase and I started having severe chills.
All during the night I was forced to go to the bathroom to urinate about every 90 minutes.
By morning the shooting pain was almost unbearable and my testicle had swollen to about 3 times its normal size.
To say I was scared would be a gross understatement --- I was horrified!!!
I had made up my mind to enter myself into the hospital, but decided to see an Upper Cervical Doctor first.
At 3 p m in the afternoon I was able to see Dr. Michelle Nowakowski at the Spine Wellness Center in Las Vegas.
The initial Upper Cervical x-rays showed a right head/neck mis-alignment of 10½ degrees.
She made the head/neck mis-alignment correction with the Laney hand held adjusting instrument.
X-rays taken immediately after the correction showed the mis-alignment was reduced from 10½ degrees to 2½ degrees.
I was placed in the rest and relaxation room and told to relax for 30 minutes to give muscles of the neck time to adapt to the mis-alignment correction.
When I came to the doctor’s office not only was I in severe pain but had difficulty in walking and getting up and down from a chair without help because of the immense swelling.
By the time the rest and relaxation period was over I thought I could detect less swelling and there was definitely less pain.
As the evening passed the swelling was less, the pain disappeared and urination returned to normal.
By the following day all symptoms had disappeared.
I feel the reason I experienced such fast results was because the cause of the problem was immediately corrected before the body had time to make too many changes in its attempt to solve the problem.
I hesitate to think what I may have gone through at the hospital because they would have been treating the effects of the problem instead of correcting the cause.
It is easy to understand why the Upper Cervical Doctor says “try Upper Cervical Care
first” ----- so glad I did!!!
