My Brief Story
Brief Story:
Our son Matthew is a twenty-four year old young man who is diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Matthew has been receiving Upper Cervical Chiropractic treatment from Dr. Scott Bender for approximately two months. In this time we have observed an overall improvement in Matthew’s functioning, including gross motor coordination.
Matthew has always had difficulties executing critical thinking skills and verbalizing his thoughts. Due to Dr. Bender's treatments, we have observed a marked increase in Matthew’s verbal expression and verbal reasoning skills. He seems to be able to express his feelings clearer and exhibits better abilities in advocating for himself. Furthermore, we have seen a big improvement in Matthew’s posture. He appears to be standing more erect and when walking his gait has greatly improved.
It is our belief that Matthew’s improvement in these areas is a direct result of Dr. Bender's application of Upper Cervical Treatment and is already showing improvement in his quality of life.
