My Brief Story

I had been diagnosed several years ago with Meniere’s. I was put on a water pill and was told to watch my salt intake. It did help somewhat until a few years later. I had a lot of stress for several months and the dizziness and vertigo came back with a vengeance. I was put on a stronger water pill and an even lower sodium diet. While it helped with the vertigo a little, I still felt light headed and dizzy most of the time.
It was all I could do to make it through an eight-hour day at work. I had constant headaches and was taking six Ibuprofen a day. I did not dare go anywhere without my Valium. I was exhausted by the time I got home from work because my brain spent the whole time trying to keep the world from spinning. I had to be driven home several times because I was too dizzy to drive. I was getting vertigo every seven to ten days.
I was told my next step was surgery. My husband suggested that I go to see a chiropractor. He had heard of one that was doing a study on Meniere’s patients, so I finally ended up calling Dr Burcon and making an appointment. I experienced an immediate difference after just one treatment. It is now a few months later and I am off the water pill, my diet has returned to normal, I seldom get a headache and have not had a single episode of vertigo. He gave me my life back!
