My Brief Story
Brief Story:  I first heard about Brooks Spinal Care from the commercial on TV for the Beyond Fibromyalgia Seminar. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 1992. I had tried everything. My pain was so bad, that I couldn’t take it anymore. My primary complaint was my low back and my right arm pain, but I had all the other symptoms associated with Fibromyalgia: pain in the trigger points, trouble sleeping, sinus problems, TMJ, restless leg syndrome and long episodes of fatigue and collapse. My right arm hurt so bad that I had to hold it up to get it to work. I couldn’t even rotate it.

This had been going on since 1987 when I gave birth to my youngest son and the epidural went real bad and damaged my back. I tried steroidal injections, acupuncture, physical therapy, drugs, and magnets, massage therapy, traditional chiropractic manipulations and surgery. But when I came to Brooks Spinal Care in February 2002 and received my first correction, I immediately felt better. The pain in my arm was gone. My knees and hip pain were gone. My sinuses started clearing. Getting up and down was easier. And it just gets better as I stay under care. I have even experienced losing my correction on one day and it recovers by itself without a correction from Dr. Brooks. I am living again. I see hope for the future and I no longer want to “go home to the Lord” rather than suffer the pain.

P.S. The doctors would tell me that if I would just lose weight and exercise I would get better…I could only dream about exercising back then. Somehow I thought it was my fault that I couldn’t. Look at me now, 25 pounds lighter since I came to see Dr. Brooks. Now I can exercise!
