My Brief Story
Brief Story:
I was the spouse of a TN (trigeminal neuralgia) victim who escaped "the Beast" under UC care. I didn't believe what the UC doctor did would help my conditions, so I postponed my initial visit.
At 26 I cracked the dashboard of our Oldsmobile station wagon when we were broad-sided. My head cracked the dash even though I wore a seat-belt. X-rays confirmed a concussion. Because I WAS HEALTHY, it took 8 years for symptoms to appear in my body. At 34 I started to hemoragh each month during my menstrual cycle. I would flow 10 days of each month, flooding through two pads onto the furniture. After 4 years my doctor did a sonagram which confirmed massive fibroid tumors. The recommendation was that I consent to a hysterectomy. By then I began to have severe allergies which would weaken me to the point of going to bed for days each Spring and Fall. This descended into a continual drainage that made me cough constantly.
I worked in the medical field, so I tried every new medication, and had 2 TB tests, whcih proved negative. Nothing affected the cough or the cycles. By the time my husband found UC, my joints had begun to swell with arthritic pain.
Once I agreed to go, and was x-rayed, then corrected, the swollen joints on my two fingers of my right hand returned to normal with NO SWELLING or pain within 2 hours. The chronic cough I'd had for 8 years was gone within 2 weeks of the first correction. My periods did not change.
Two years went by, and I tried a different technique of UC. The UC doctor asked me about a 20 yr old injury he could see on the x-rays. He adjusted my axis, near the sagittal plane, and my periods became normal 3-4 day, light cycles immediately.
