Summary |
Whilst the study at the above 'source' involves only a small sample, parents should be made aware of the possible dangers of treatments like Ritalin. After just three months, each of 12 children receiving methylphenidate (Ritalin) for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) experienced significant chromosome abnormalities that are often associated with increased risks of cancer and other health problems. A small sample yes, but 100% of kids sustained chromosomal damage. |
