Summary The staff and board of Oklahaven's Children's Chiropractic Center are saddened to report the passing of Dr. Melvin "Wayne" Clark on October 8, 2004. Dr. Clark was born on May 8, 1925. He was a veteran of World War II and Korean War, for which he received the Purple Heart Award. He graduated from Palmer Chiropractic College in 1957.

In 1962, he was one of the founding members of Oklahaven and served as President of its Board of Directors, donating many hours to the Center in its formative years.



He was a member of the Palmer Alumni Association, ICA, NUCCA, and was the President for the Oklahoma Chiropractic Association. He practiced NUCCA for 47 years in Oklahoma City. Due to a lengthy illness, he stopped practicing at the beginning of this year.



Dr. Clark's family has requested memorial gifts be directed to Oklahaven Children's Chiropractic Center; 4500 N. Meridian Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73112; www.chiropractic4kids.com. Services were held Monday, October 11, 2004 at 10 AM.
